Booster Club Minutes

November 14, 2006

Meeting was called to order at 6:02 pm and held in the Health Room, Willis High School.Executive Board Members present were Billie Gorrell, Vicki Sutton, Rhonda Diggs, Dawn Havran and Cathy Glasner. Director Katie Jackson and SoCo Officer Jessica Adams were also present.

©Rhonda Diggs, www.willissweethearts.com .Needs pictures of girls from parents. Reminded parents to notify of any email or phone number changes as soon as possible. Thank you to all Snack, Hauling and Spirit table volunteers.

Raffle fundraiser earned $4393.50. Kim Schmidt reviewed all winners. Kristen Schmidt was top seller, will receive $50.00 Target Gift card. Thank you to Chairpersons, Kim Schmidt and Mary Simpson.
Golf Tournament funds raised $1550.00. Chairpersons Mike Nelson and Vicki Sutton.
Sweetheart Photos dates are November 19,20 & 21.Kareece Goetzman is Chairperson. Needs volunteers to work at Brabham during photo sessions.
Pie sales begin November 20^th. Each Sweetheart is required to sell 20 pies.
Billie Gorrell discussed fundraiser purposes.

Certificates were mailed this month.
Sweetheart Christmas Party will be at Incredible Pizza December 8^th 7:pm. Girls will receive $22.00 game card. Will play white elephant gift game. Details TBA.

©Parent shirts orders are in. Still taking orders.

©New Uniforms are in. Uniforms will not be check out. They will stay on hanging racks with the team to insure best condition.

©New York trip will be March 8-11. If you need travel information contact Billie Gorrell. Cost per girl is approximately $1100.00, this does not include some of the meals.

©North Houston Winter Dance Festival, Home Hosted Contest January 27, 2007. This is a Mandatory workday for all Sweetheart Parents. Please mark your calendars and think about where you would like to help. Rhonda Diggs, Chairperson.

Mandatory Parent meeting will be Tuesday, January 16^th after our regular meeting.
