Booster Club Minutes

October 17, 2006

Meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm and held in the Health Room, Willis High School.Executive Board Members present were Billie Gorrell, Vicki Sutton, Rhonda Diggs, Dawn Havran and Cathy Glasner. Director Katie Jackson and SoCo Officer Cortney Buller were also present.

©Introduction of School Board Representative Bill Chapman. Reviewed Willis I.S.D Schoolhouse Bond Referendum for Voting November 7^th.

Statements were sent out last week. If any questions contact Dawn Havran.

Trip payments should be paid and all balances cleared.

©Rhonda Diggs, reviewed Sweethearts Web site. Needs pictures of girls from parents. Reminded parents to notify of any email or phone number changes as soon as possible. Review parents of Snack, Hauling and Spirit table volunteers.

©Vicki Sutton reviewed Raffle fundraiser started October 16^th. Deadline will be October 30^th. Drawing will be November 3^rd. Girls are to sell 50 tickets each. Buy out available. Chairpersons are Kim Schmidt and Mary Simpson. Golf Tournament funds raised $1500.00.

Sweetheart Photos sell dates are November 1-13. Photo dates are November 19-21.

Pie sales begin November 20^th. 

©Cathy Glasner has Thank You notes available. Sponsor Plaques were sent home to be delivered. Certificates will be mailed this month. Sweetheart Christmas Party will be at Incredible Pizza December 8^th 7:pm. Girls will receive $22.00 game card. Will play white elephant gift game. Details will be sent at later time.

©Parent shirts orders should be in this week. Still taking orders.

©Cortney Buller, Halloween Party is October 30^th 6:30-8:30 at Katelyn Goetzmans house. Dress is costume. Food items to bring will be assigned by squad lines. Several games will be played and Awards will be given out.

©New York trip will be March 8-11. Letters were sent home from Ms. Jackson. If you need travel information contact Billie Gorrell. Detailed information will be sent home as we get it.

©North Houston Winter Dance Festival, Home Hosted Contest January 27, 2007. This is a Mandatory workday for all Sweetheart Parents. Please mark your calendars and think about where you would like to help. Rhonda Diggs, Chairperson.
