Booster Club Minutes

August 22, 2006

Meeting was called to order at 6:03 pm and held in the Health Room, Willis High School.

Executive Board Members present were Billie Gorrell, Vicki Sutton, Rhonda Diggs, Dawn Havran and Cathy Glasner. Director Katie Jackson, WHS Principal Mr Tim Patton and SoCo President Katelyn Goetzman was also present.

©Rhonda Diggs, Secretary, is updating the Sweethearts Web site. Needs pictures of girls from parents. Reminded parents to notify of any email or phone number changes as soon as possible.

©Vicki Sutton, Vice President, Coca Cola fundraiser starts August 22 – Sept 5. Discussed upcoming fundraisers and what money is used for. Passed out Football Sign up sheets for volunteers for hauling & snacks for girls at Football games and Chairperson sign up sheet for upcoming fundraisers. We will sell water & popcorn after half time.

©Billie Gorrell, President discussed upcoming Football Season. Pick up & delivery for Props & Snacks. Contact Rhonda Diggs, Chairperson, for times. Sweethearts must try out for all routines, must follow bus rules. Pep rallies will be Friday’s at 2:00 PM, parents are invited to attend. Refer to Survival manual for help to prepare for performance.

©Weekly checklist and Calendars are sent home to tell Sweethearts what they need and what time to be at the school for games. A map will be handed out for directions. NO PARENTS OR FRIENDS ARE ALLOWED TO VISIT IN FOOTBALL STANDS.

© Doug Wrentz, Quarterback Club President discussed ad’s for football program. $40.00 for parent ad’s. Deadline is August 25^th.
